About us

Guiding Principles for Community Betterment

I am thrilled to officially announce my candidacy for Santa Clara City Council, District #1. With a robust career spanning 25 years in the IT industry and more than a decade as a proud resident of Santa Clara, I am dedicated to using my experience to serve our vibrant community.

My journey in Santa Clara has been shaped by a deep commitment to community service and meaningful engagement. Currently, I proudly serve on the Chief Advisory Committee Board at the Santa Clara Police Department, where I collaborate on initiatives to enhance public safety and foster community unity. Beyond law enforcement, I am actively involved with esteemed non-profit organizations such as DCSCO (Don Callejon) Santa Clara School, the Sankara Eye Foundation, and KA-BOOM, contributing to education, healthcare, and recreational opportunities for our youth. Santa ClaraWhat we need on our Silicon Valley city councils are smart, capable residents to step and serve. Not career politicians. Not people who are just interested in jumping forward. We need people who are willing to put in the work and get down to business. That is who Satish Chandra is.
